The Big Bang Theory, a comedy about a group of science geek friends was first premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007. It was a hit that caught the heart of both introvert and extrovert – especially due to the lovable personalities of the main cast.
In the long run, regardless of their socially-awkward characters, these geeks eventually got the girls of their dreams on television, rather than being rejected. Even though they are acting as characters which are not reflective of real-life, the saying goes that whatever you keep doing becomes part of you.
Throughout the last 10 seasons of The Big Bang Theory, a lot happened on and of- screen. Many relationships developed: The most famous one, between Leonard (an experimental physicist) and Penny (his neighbor/aspiring actress) happened to be the most central subject right from the beginning of the first season pilot episode.
In one way or the other, every point of the discussion focused on these two: when they met, nobody could have thought Penny would go for someone like Leonard who was not as tall, sexy, and hunky as her ex. At first, she only saw him as a neighbor and a friend. These things eventually turn around and the two made a good couple (on and off-screen) eventually getting married.
Characters Vs. Real Life
Though we can be emotional, we all know that they are just doing their job, so we do not need to be remember that it is only a show and the characters have nothing to do with personalities!
Nevertheless, every actor and actress has a real life where a true relationship and a real home and families exist. So yes, it’s sad that Bernadette and Howard do not really have a cute baby together and Sheldon and Amy are not really going to get married but still…
Real Life Hookups
These cast members are not socially-awkward nerds off-screen, they are successful people who are making it big in the real world. Surprisingly, few of them took their romantic character off the screen while others geeks landed a beauty queen in real life.
Continue reading to get the full breakdown on their off-screen life. While the show came to an end this year, who knows how long these relationships will go in the future?
